I have used different task management apps in the past but I find the low tech option of paper and pen to work best for me.

In the past, I’ve used Google Tasks, since it is integrated with Gmail and Google Calendar. My issue is creating the habit and consistency with using the tool. I’ve tried ToDoist, but it would pop up as a separate list as an add-on. I want something that can help me set priorities for each task so the never ending list doesn’t get so overwhelming.

I use the tasks feature in my email system. When I open an email and it requires me to do something with it I add it to my tasks. I add a calendar date or time on it as needed. I look at it at the end of the day and mark off the items that were completed.

I am a bit, as they say, old school and love my paper agenda book (so thank you for the print planners!). However I love technology and visual representations of task lists. I will try a few task apps (So far I like the format of 'Remember the Milk', as well as the 'catchy' name) as I prefer a more global view of the week or month and then a specific list day to day. Again, this formatting is why I prefer my agenda book.

The paper planner works best for me. I tried Todoist and other similar apps but it took too much time for me to set up and input everything versus writing things down in the planner. Plus the paper planner gets me away from my screens-- I need the blink breaks. ☺️

I actually have been using Google Keep in conjunction with Google Calendar to keep lists and an electronic calendar combined up to this point.

For many years I used a spiral bound lined notebook with a page dedicated to each day. My system broke down last year for a multitude of issues and I need to rethink it. I am trying Asana for organizing my projects this summer - I think I just need to do the tutorials to get the most out of it.

I really don't have a preferred task app or even a preferred low tech method, most of my todo list stays in my head daily. I guess that I can easily forget about something that way with the limited amount of mental bandwidth, but right now it is the only process I know and is the only process that somewhat works for me. I will definitely be exploring other options so i could possibly be more productive in my daily work day.

I use my Google calendar for all important due dates, tasks and meetings. I have a notebook that I use for my daily to do list and notes from the day.

I use my Google Calendar as my main resource. I list the staff I will be visiting as appointments on the calendar. This way I know not to add anything else to that time block and am more likely to keep my schedule.

I prefer pen and paper, but I've also used Evernote on occasion. I also have used repertoire for evaluations and feedback. So I would say I use both and I think a lot of the tools that are mentioned and get organized digitally are great at getting everything out of the clutter that a lot of people to have in their offices.

I like a paper planner. I like the feeling of crossing off my to do list. I have a mini clipboard that I carry with me to keep me on task. I am going to look into an electronic task app. I carry my phone with me already. So having an app on my phone would eliminate me carrying the clipboard.

I like a combination of apps and paper, and I'm muddling through trying to find a system that works. You hit the nail on the head. My problem is I set up a system and I don't follow through with it, and so then I end up having notes in too many places, so I need to definitely simplify.

I use my Google Calendar for everything. If it is not on my calendar, it doesn't happen in my school life and my personal life. I try using tasks in Google, but I am not consistent with it. I wonder if an app would help with this.

I will admit, I have not used a task app before. I am not opposed to it, I just have always preferred pen and paper. I feel like I remember more if I physically write it down. I like the satisfaction of getting to cross items off my list. I do use Google Calendar though. I try to plan my bigger meetings that way. It does help me stay on track.
