So my name is Tanya Newell. I am the current principal at Mountain View Montessori Charter School. We are located in the high desert area in Victorville, California, which is halfway between La and Las Vegas on the 15 Freeway. We are in more of a rural suburban setting, which is a growing area, again, just east of La, about an hour and a half east of La. We currently have 240 students. We serve transitional kindergarten, which will be universal pre K starting next year all the way through 6th grade. And let's see something that I'm proud of about our school. Oh, there's so many things. We are one of the two charters within Victor Elementary School District, and we are also one of the two top performing schools every year. And we've actually been chartered since the year 2000. And so we've been going very strong for a very long time. And over half of our staff members have been at our school for ten years or more. And we only have a staff of 25. So I think that speaks a lot to our wonderful environment, the dedication of the people within our environment. And we also have a very low turnover because our families love our school. And so we don't have a lot that enter and then leave unless they move out of the area or there's extenuating circumstances. So a couple of fun things about our school that I am proud of.
