I think I can recall getting some "feedback sandwiches" during my time teaching. It didn't really feel authentic because the evaluator was always using a form, and only observed me during the 1-2x's yearly formal observation. The advice given wasn't always something I thought was helpful or useful, again given that most of the evaluators I had didn't teach world languages and weren't aware of WL instructional strategies outside of the general classroom management tips.
